About the Event
Join us, in person for an morning of beauty, relaxation, and connection to the earth as we learn how to take your garden cuttings and arrange them sustainably in a vase! We will demonstrate with our favorite ecofriendly mechanics & then walk you through your design using florists' tricks of the trade for making a sustainable, long lasting floral arrangement. This floral arranging class will feature all local and in-season blooms like tulips, daffodils, hellebores, bleeding heart, poppies, etc! You will learn the mechanics of how to prepare your vessel, experiment with line/form/movement/color/texture and then flex your own floral arranging skills! Enjoy a complementary cup of tea & nibbles as we talk flowers and work with the best of what the season has to offer from our own farm.
Vase and flowers go home with you at the end of the evening.

This ticket includes in-person instruction with farmer/florist Sarah Wagstaff at SUOT Floral Studio as well as locally grown, sustainably harvested, and hand picked flowers, foliage, and branches with a keepsake vase.
