About the Event
Join us at SUOT Flower Shop for a creative night making your own jewelry with artist Ashley Lohr.
In her enamel earring class, Ashley demonstrates each step of torching powder enamel on copper blanks to achieve a unique design. Participants will use a hand-held butane torch, a variety of opaque & transparent enamels, & one-on-one design discussions with the instructor. Absolutely no experience needed & lots of fun to be had!
Ashley Lohr is a jewelry artist living in Petersburg, Alaska. Ashley earned her masters in studio art in 2015, teaches art at the local public school, and has over 15 years of experience teaching jewelry.
